Thaw

Hello again my dear readers! It's been a little bit since my last post, been busy with trying to find work as I'm entering month #3 of unemployment unfortunately. On the plus side, it's given me lots of time to work out. I'm now up at 190lbs for the first time in...ever really. Aiming to hit the 200lb mark hopefully in time for my birthday in May.

As my birthday approaches, I've been thinking about things that I would want this year. The one thing that comes to mind, naturally, is a good match with some sexy stud. As some of you may have seen in my last post or two, I've posted a poll on my Google+ profile asking who my next opponent should be. As it would happen, the winner of the poll has officially challenged me on my last post! Yes, I'm talking about the big and sexy Darius!

Darius is a big muscled guy as you can all plainly see. Big chest, ripped abs, big vascular biceps...all things that would intimidate a lesser man in any circumstance. However, Darius does seem to have an affinity for being, how should I put it...a big jobber! His win-loss record at BG East alone proves that point. Now I know you're thinking "But Ben, your win-loss record isn't all that stellar either!" True, I'll give you that, but most guys know that when they step on the mats or in the ring with me, they're in for some painful moves and holds. Don't believe me? Ask Austin Cooper who tapped in the first 2 minutes on the mats with me!

That being said, hopefully me and Darius should definitely hit the mats one day if only to settle who the bigger jobber is. What do you guys think? What kind of match would you just love to see between me and Darius?

One last little thing...for those of you who want to contribute a little something for my birthday (i.e. have money to burn) I've put together a little Amazon Wishlist of things that would be fun to have. I'm not really expecting any of you to actually go and buy anything but if you want, it's there :P IF you do decide to get me something though, I'll be eternally grateful ;)

Big Man in Trouble!

Well it seems like it's been a while, but I have a new match up on BG East! Yes my dear readers, they've released another one! The match features a big muscle ape who I recruited and who means a lot to me, Mr. Sam Sellers!

Now if you're a loyal reader of this blog, you'll remember that a little while ago, I posted some pics of this big stud who I get the pleasure of taking down in my latest match. He's been waiting a long time to see his match up on the website and now, finally, he can actually back up his claims to having wrestled for BG East on his wrestling profiles online! To think that barely a few years ago, he was a closeted guy and now, he's joining the ranks of the BG stars! I'm so proud of him! He's like my BG baby :P

Hopefully you guys like him as much as I do! To get to the match, click on the picture in the sidebar on the right side of the screen and you'll be taken to the BG website :) Watch the match, tell me what you think, tell Sam what you think! Who should he take on next?

Speaking of that, I'm starting to use my Google+ profile a bit more than before and discovered a nifty polling feature on it. I'm testing it out right now to see if it works well. Seems to be good so far! Look me up on Google+ and go vote in the poll of who I should take on next!

Boom!

Happy New Year to all of you my dear readers! Yeah, I know I'm a bit late. I've been spending lots of time with my family and doing lots of time at the gym as well! I've gone up to 190lbs in the past few weeks, the heaviest I've ever been! To some of you this may seem odd but I'm actually trying to put on some muscle so I'm ecstatic ;) The hardest part for me when I work out is always putting on more size. I guess my metabolism doesn't want me to gain...oh well. There is a possibility that some of the gain is "holiday weight" which is why I'm trying to add in a little mix of cardio to my routine to slim myself down a tad in the mid section.

Speaking of numbers, my match total for 2014 ended up being 59! That's 59 matches that I've had with guys in the past year! That averages out to almost 5 matches a month, not too bad I think! I won't be reprising the counting ticker that I had this past year for 2015 but needless to say that I'm gonna strive to beat my own record on that front! Always aim for more if and when it's possible!

In other news, I'm still looking for work. In the meantime I've started to take a course in Japanese! Soon I'll be a trilingual wrestler! Of course, as some of you already know, I'm fluent in French given the fact that I live in Montreal. Hopefully, in not too much time, I'll make you all give up in Japanese...then French...then English! Never forget to train your brain! It just makes a hot body even sexier when you know how to talk about anything and everything ;)

From the Darkness of Winter...

That time of year is upon us again! Yes, it's the solstice! The beginning of winter but the return of longer days at the same time! Of course, this all coincides with Christmas, Hanukkah, Kwanza, Festivus, etc. so there's a reason to be happy and festive for just about everyone.

For me, this year is going to be a little different from the past ones. For the first time in...well...ever...I'm unemployed at Christmas time! Don't worry BG fans, I'm not saying that I'm not wrestling anymore, but rather my "day job" has come to an end. It may be a surprise to some, though hopefully not too much of a surprise, that 99.9% of wrestlers at BG have different day jobs and careers! Granted wrestling full-time for a stable salary would be amazing it's not actually possible for most of us. We have bills, rents, mortgages and all kinds of other things to pay for all the time.

That being said, one can always dream of that possibility :P

On the plus side, I have a niece who I'm going to spend lots of time with over the holidays and a family who I'll get to visit and enjoy without having to worry about rushing back to work after a day or two.  As my best friend always tells me, I seem to be an eternal optimist and always believe that things always end up working out just fine in the end. For now, I'm just going to enjoy the break from the routine and maybe get a few more matches in before the end of the year ;)

So to all of you, my dear readers, have safe, fun and happy holidays! All the best to you and may all your dreams come true in the New Year! :)
